I'm a seasoned designer with expertise across the digital design landscape, having thrived in both world-class agency environments and in-house positions.
Freelancing since 2011 (a lot of long and short contracts), I've developed the ability to integrate seamlessly into new teams, quickly grasp design challenges, and stay current with industry-leading design practices and processes.
I’m naturally curious, whether that be professional in design, or personally through my hobbies in food and music. I also consider myself someone who genuinely connects with others, bringing empathy to my design process and leadership style.
Cook
Ran a successful supperclub in an east london
Away from work I consider myself an accomplished and passionate cook and during the early days of supper clubs (2010) l ran and cooked at a successful one myself called Trail of our bread. Once a month l cooked 5 courses to between 18 - 24 guests, which was enriching and exhausting in equal measures.
Side hustle in iced goods
In 2024 l set out to develop an ice cream that was vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and lower in sugar for a close friend’s son, who struggled to find allergy-friendly options during family outings. The results were so warmly received by friends in Margate that l have begun selling them locally and branded the offerings. Watch this space!
Runner
Completed the London Marathon in 2015 & 2016
With all the cooking/eating, comes a need to move about now and again, so l do this by running at least 3 times a week. I enjoy getting out wherever l maybe, it’s my place to think and set myself up for the day. I also really enjoy the discipline required to be able to complete the longer distances.
